    Vera Chok is a Malaysian actress and writer based in the United Kingdom. She has appeared in various stage, screen, and radio roles throughout her career. From 2021 to 2023, Chok portrayed Honour Chen-Williams in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. Born in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, Chok is of Chinese descent. She attended Assunta Primary and Secondary schools in Malaysia and Abbots Bromley School in Staffordshire. Chok graduated from The Queen's College, Oxford, and received acting training at the Poor School in London and with Philippe Gaulier in Paris. Chok identifies as queer and uses she/they pronouns. Some of her notable theatre roles include performances in Chimerica (2013) and The World of Extreme Happiness (2013).
