Victor Garber

Victor Jay Garber is a Canadian-American actor and singer, born on March 16, 1949. With a career spanning both stage and screen, he has received numerous accolades, including three Gemini Awards, four Tony Awards nominations, and six Primetime Emmy Awards nominations. Garber has originated roles in several Broadway productions, such as Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Noises Off, Lend Me a Tenor, Arcadia, and Art. His film debut was in the musical Godspell (1973) as Jesus Christ. Notable film appearances include Titanic (1997), Milk (2008), and Argo (2012), for which he won a Screen Actors Guild Award. In 2022, Garber was honored as an Officer of the Order of Canada.
