Vincent Kennedy McMahon (born August 24, 1945) is an American businessman, media proprietor, sports executive, and professional wrestling promoter. He is the co-founder of WWE, the world's largest professional wrestling promotion, and currently serves as the Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE. McMahon is also the founder and owner of Alpha Entertainment, overseeing the revival of the XFL in 2020. Graduating from East Carolina University in 1968 with a business degree, McMahon began his career as a commentator for WWE in the 1970s. He purchased the company from his father in 1982 and played a significant role in consolidating and monopolizing the professional wrestling industry across the United States.
