Ziwe Fumudoh is an American comedian and writer known for her satirical commentary on politics, race relations, and young adulthood. She gained popularity through her YouTube comedy show 'Baited with Ziwe,' which later transitioned to an Instagram Live series. From 2018 to 2020, Fumudoh worked as a writer on the show 'Desus & Mero.' She also co-hosted Crooked Media's 'Hysteria' podcast in 2018. Fumudoh is currently the star and executive producer of the variety series 'Ziwe' on Showtime, which premiered in May 2021. Born on February 27, 1992, Fumudoh grew up in Lawrence, Massachusetts, and graduated from Phillips Academy in Andover in 2010. She later graduated from Northwestern University with a double major in radio, television, and film, and African American studies in 2014.
