A Talent for Murder

A young man travels from New York to Switzerland to persuade acclaimed crime novelist Patricia Highsmith to write one final Tom Ripley novel. As he presses his case, boundaries between persuasion and obsession shift, and his increasingly unsettling actions draw Highsmith, her acquaintances, and long-buried tensions into a tense confrontation.
