Olivia Kate Cooke, born on December 27, 1993, is an English actress known for her impressive television and film roles. In television, she portrayed Emma Decody in the thrilling series Bates Motel from 2013 to 2017. She also starred as Becky Sharp in the period drama Vanity Fair in 2018 and currently portrays Alicent Hightower in the fantasy drama House of the Dragon, starting in 2022. Cooke's filmography includes notable appearances in the horror film Ouija (2014), the comedy-drama Me and Earl and the Dying Girl (2015), the thriller Thoroughbreds (2017), the science fiction film Ready Player One (2018), and the drama Sound of Metal (2020). With a passion for acting from a young age, Cooke began her journey in the Oldham Theatre Workshop and later studied drama at Oldham Sixth Form College.
