City of Dreams

City of Dreams is a 2023 American-Mexican drama thriller film directed by Mohit Ramchandani. The story centers around a young Mexican teenager aspiring to be a soccer player. His life takes a drastic turn following his mother's death, leading him to be smuggled into the U.S. with the hope of a new beginning. Instead, he finds himself trapped, working in a Los Angeles sweatshop.
