Killer Joe is a 2011 American Southern Gothic crime film directed by William Friedkin, based on the play of the same name by Tracy Letts. The film follows a cop who takes on a hit job to kill the mother of a drug dealer in exchange for the chance to be with the dealer's innocent sister.
