Liberty Heights

Liberty Heights is a 1999 American comedy-drama film that provides a semi-autobiographical account of director Barry Levinson's childhood growing up in Baltimore in the 1950s. The movie portrays the racial injustices experienced by both the Jewish and African-American populations, as well as the challenges faced by the Kurtzman family.
