Paycheck

Paycheck is a 2003 American science fiction action film directed by John Woo and stars Ben Affleck, Uma Thurman, and Aaron Eckhart. It is based on the 1953 short story 'Paycheck' by Philip K. Dick. The film follows the story of Michael Jennings, a brilliant engineer who undergoes memory wipes to protect sensitive projects he works on. When he discovers he hasn't been paid for his last job and receives a mysterious envelope instead, he embarks on a journey to unravel the mystery and avoid imminent danger.
