The Aeronauts

Set in 1862, The Aeronauts follows balloon pilot Amelia Wren and scientist James Glaisher as they attempt a record-breaking ascent in the era’s largest balloon to gather meteorological data. Their voyage exposes technical challenges, extreme atmospheric conditions and life-threatening hazards while testing contemporary scientific methods and personal resolve and endurance.
