The Legend of Bagger Vance

The Legend of Bagger Vance is a 2000 American sports film directed by Robert Redford, and starring Will Smith, Matt Damon, and Charlize Theron. Inspired by the Hindu sacred text the Bhagavad Gita, the film follows Rannulph Junuh, a World War I veteran-turned-alcoholic golfer, as he rediscovers his passion for the game with the help of the mysterious caddy Bagger Vance.
