The Yards

The Yards is a 2000 American crime film directed by James Gray. Set in the commuter rail yards of New York City, the movie revolves around the prevalent bribery, corporate crime, and political corruption among contractors involved in repairing railway cars for the city Transit Authority. As Leo Handler strives to support his mother and reintegrate into society after serving time in prison, he becomes entangled in the intense competition and corrupt dealings within the industry.
