My Brilliant Career is a six-part Australian period drama miniseries adapted from Miles Franklin's 1901 novel. Set in early twentieth-century rural Australia, it follows seventeen-year-old Sybylla Melvyn (Philippa Northeast), who aspires to be a writer while facing social expectations and a developing romantic relationship with Harry Beecham and familial pressures.
