Anna Chancellor is a British actress, born on April 27, 1965, in Richmond, England. She has been nominated for both BAFTA and Olivier Awards. Chancellor was raised in Somerset and attended St Mary's School in Shaftesbury. At the age of sixteen, she moved to London and described her early years there as 'quite wild'. In her early twenties, she married poet Jock Scot, with whom she had a daughter. Chancellor got her first acting role on television in the show Jupiter Moon, followed by a commercial for Boddingtons beer. She has appeared in numerous films and TV shows, showcasing her talent and versatility as an actress.
