Andrew Whipp

Andrew Whipp (born April 7, 1969) is a British actor known for his roles in Not Going Out as Dr Jenkins, Emmerdale as Callum Rennie, and Eastenders as DI Savage. Whipp has garnered critical acclaim for his stage performances, including his portrayal of Gordon in F*ck the Polar Bears at the Bush Theatre. He was recognized in the Sunday Times Irish Edition's Best Performances of 2010 list for his role as Bernard Nightingale in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia at the Gate Theatre in Dublin. Whipp's performance was commended by The Irish Times critic Peter Crawley as both likable and contemptible.
