Angie Dickinson (born Angeline Brown; September 30, 1931) is an American retired actress. She gained fame for her roles in Gun the Man Down (1956) and Rio Bravo (1959), which earned her the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year. Throughout her career, Dickinson appeared in over 50 films, including China Gate (1957), Cry Terror! (1958), Ocean's 11 (1960), and The Killers (1964). She also starred as Sergeant 'Pepper' Anderson in the NBC crime series Police Woman from 1974 to 1978, earning her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series and three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actress.
