Chris Hansen is an American television presenter, journalist, and YouTube personality. He gained popularity as a correspondent for Dateline NBC, hosting the segment To Catch a Predator from 2004 to 2007. This show focused on exposing potential Internet predators through sting operations. Hansen continued his predator investigations and interviews through hosting similar shows on other networks. Following his departure from NBC in 2013, he hosted Killer Instinct on Investigation Discovery in 2015, which delved into homicide investigations. Hansen also hosted the syndicated series Crime Watch Daily in its second and third seasons. In 2020, he co-founded the true crime streaming service TruBlu and starred in the web series TakeDown with Chris Hansen.
