Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers is a Canadian actor, director, and producer. Born on April 15, 1985, in Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Alberta, she is of Blackfoot and Sámi descent. Tailfeathers gained recognition for her roles in various films and TV shows. She made her acting debut in the 2008 film 'Kainayssini Imanistaisiwa: The People Go On.' She is best known for her performances in 'The Body Remembers When the World Broke Open' (2019), 'The Revenant' (2015), and 'Blood Quantum' (2019). Besides acting, Tailfeathers has also directed and produced several projects, including the documentary 'c?k?i?ni?pi?sis: songs heal. In addition to her creative work, she is an advocate for Indigenous rights and has been recognized for her contributions to the film industry.
