John Judd
John Judd (born 9 April 1942) is an English Formula One engineer and the founder of Engine Developments Ltd. He is renowned for his partnership with the iconic triple F1 World Champion Sir Jack Brabham. Judd began his career at a young age, joining engine company Coventry Climax where he worked on the Formula 1 engine used by Brabham. Following Brabham's move to Repco, Judd was hired to work with engine designer Phil Irving, resulting in two drivers championships and two constructors championships in 1966 and 1967. Later, Brabham switched to Ford DFV engines built by Cosworth, and Judd was once again hired by Brabham for engine development.
