Kappei Yamaguchi
Kappei Yamaguchi, born Mitsuo Yamaguchi, is a Japanese actor, voice actor, and rakugoka. He is known for his roles in various anime series and films. Yamaguchi made his voice acting debut in 1989 as the male version of Ranma Saotome in Ranma ½. He has also voiced characters such as Inuyasha in Inuyasha, L in Death Note, Shinichi Kudo and Kaito Kid in Detective Conan, Usopp in One Piece, and Teddie in Persona 4. Yamaguchi's children, Ryunosuke and Akane, are also voice actors, with Akane also being a rakugoka. Born in Fukuoka, he graduated from Fukuoka's prefectural Chikuzen High School and attended Tokyo Announce University College for performance training.
