Kurt Russell is an American actor known for his diverse roles in film and television. He made his debut at the age of 12 in the western series The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters. In the late 1960s, he signed a ten-year contract with The Walt Disney Company and starred in several films, including The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Now You See Him, Now You Don't, and The Strongest Man in the World. Russell gained recognition as the top star of the 1970s. He received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in Silkwood.
