Lisa Edelstein

Lisa Edelstein is an American actress and artist, born on May 21, 1966, in Boston, Massachusetts. She gained recognition for her role as Dr. Lisa Cuddy in the Fox medical drama series House, which aired from 2004 to 2011. From 2014 to 2018, Edelstein starred as Abby McCarthy in the Bravo series Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce. She was raised in Wayne, New Jersey, and attended Wayne Valley High School. Before her acting career, Edelstein was a cheerleader for the New Jersey Generals. In addition to her acting work, Edelstein is also an artist. She has made appearances in the New York club scene and was referenced in James St. James' book Disco Bloodbath.
