Lorraine Bracco (born October 2, 1954) is an American actress known for her distinct husky voice and Brooklyn accent. With a career spanning decades, Bracco has been nominated for numerous prestigious awards, including an Academy Award, four Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and three Screen Actors Guild Awards. She began her career as a model in France before making her English-language debut in The Pick-Up Artist (1987). Bracco gained widespread recognition for her role as Karen Hill in Martin Scorsese's Goodfellas (1990), earning nominations for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award.
