Marky Ramone

Marc Steven Bell, known by his stage name Marky Ramone, is an American drummer born on July 15, 1952. He gained recognition playing in hard rock bands such as Dust and Estus in the New York City area. In 1978, he joined the punk rock band Ramones, replacing drummer Tommy Ramone. Marky Ramone also played drums for other punk rock and heavy metal bands, including his own band Marky Ramone and the Intruders. He has kept the Ramones legacy alive worldwide with his band Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg. In 2015, he released his autobiography Punk Rock Blitzkrieg: My Life as a Ramone. Ramone currently resides in Brooklyn Heights with his wife, Marion Flynn.
