Nancy Becker-Kennedy

Nancy Becker-Kennedy, also known as Nancy Becker Kennedy, is a disability rights activist, writer, and actress. She has gained recognition for her roles in various television shows, including Frasier, 3rd Rock from the Sun, The Louie Show, and General Hospital, where she portrayed the character Martha McKee. Notably, she holds the distinction of being the first person in a wheelchair to star as a series regular on both daytime and primetime television in the United States. Nancy is an active member of the Southern California chapter of ADAPT, a leading disability rights organization, and she also serves as a contributing editor for New Mobility magazine. In addition to her acting career, Nancy has worked as a news producer for public television and has achieved success as a published playwright, award-winning writer, and composer.
