Roy Brocksmith Biography
Roy Brocksmith (September 15, 1945 – December 16, 2001) was an American actor known for his nerdy and pudgy appearance, which made him perfect for comic roles. Born in Quincy, Illinois, he began his career on Broadway, performing in productions such as The Three Musketeers and The Threepenny Opera. In the late '80s and 1990s, Brocksmith gained prominence for his roles in films like Total Recall and Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. He also appeared as principal Michael Oslo in the TV show Picket Fences and played the jovial mortician Irv Kendall in the movie Arachnophobia. Brocksmith passed away in 2001 at the age of 56 due to complications of diabetes.
