Sarah Hay (born September 16, 1987) is an American actress and ballerina. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Claire Robbins in the Starz mini-series Flesh and Bone, which earned her nominations for a Golden Globe, a Satellite Award, and a Critics' Choice Television Award. Hay, raised in Princeton, New Jersey and New York City, comes from a family of psychologists and arts enthusiasts, with her grandfather being a member of the New York Philharmonic and her grandmother an art dealer. She began her dance training at a young age and studied at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School of Ballet. Hay's journey in ballet was not without challenges, as she faced social pressures and perceived outsider status. Nonetheless, she persevered and became a professional ballet dancer.
