Sarah Woodward (born 3 April 1963) is a British actress known for her work in stage productions and film and television appearances. She won the Olivier Award for best performance in a supporting role in 1998 for her portrayal in Tom & Clem by Stephen Churchett. Woodward was also nominated for a Tony Award in 2000 for her role in Tom Stoppard's The Real Thing. She trained as an actress at RADA, where she won the Bancroft Gold Medal, and later joined the Royal Shakespeare Company. Woodward has appeared in numerous stage productions and has worked alongside notable actors such as Antony Sher and Kenneth Branagh. She is the daughter of actor Edward Woodward and actress Venetia Barrett, sister to Tim Woodward, Peter Woodward, and Emily Woodward. Woodward is married to actor Patrick Toomey and they reside in London with their two daughters.
