Sherri Shepherd

Sherri Shepherd is an American actress, comedian, author, broadcaster, podcaster, and television host. Born on April 22, 1967, she has appeared in various sitcoms including The Jamie Foxx Show (1999-2001), Less than Perfect (2002–2006), Sherri (2009), Trial & Error (2017–2018), and Mr. Iglesias (2019–2020). Shepherd gained widespread recognition as a co-host of the daytime talk show The View from 2007 to 2014, earning multiple Daytime Emmy Award nominations and winning one in 2009. She also hosted her own syndicated daytime talk show called Sherri. Shepherd has showcased her talents beyond acting, competing on Dancing with the Stars in 2012 and publishing the book Permission Slips: Every Woman's Guide to Giving Herself a Break in 2009. She has had recurring roles in shows like 30 Rock and The Sex Lives of College Girls.
