Steve Coogan is an English comedian, actor, and screenwriter, born on October 14, 1965. He gained recognition for his creation of the character Alan Partridge, a socially inept media personality. Coogan started his career as a voice actor on the satirical puppet show Spitting Image and provided voice-overs for TV ads. In 1999, he co-founded Baby Cow Productions. Coogan's breakthrough in film came with his roles in The Parole Officer (2002) and 24 Hour Party People (2002).
