Born on October 17, 1969, Harris first gained recognition for his portrayal of Motaw in the film 'Above the Rim' in 1994. He later starred as Julius Campbell in the Walt Disney Pictures film 'Remember the Titans' in 2000 and portrayed Jimi Hendrix in the Showtime television film 'Hendrix' in the same year.
