After escaping the Sulaco, Ellen Ripley crash-lands on Fiorina 161, a remote penal colony, alone except for a surviving Alien. Newt and Corporal Hicks perish in the crash. With the facility's inmates unarmed and outside aid distant, Ripley and the prisoners must contend with the lethal organism while seeking survival.
