Sigourney Weaver

Susan Alexandra "Sigourney" Weaver (born October 8, 1949) is an American actress known for her roles in science fiction and popular culture. She has received numerous accolades, including a British Academy Film Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and a Grammy Award. Weaver gained fame for her portrayal of Ellen Ripley in the Alien franchise, starting with the iconic film Alien in 1979. She reprised the role in Aliens, Alien 3, and Alien Resurrection. Weaver is also known for her collaboration with James Cameron in the films Avatar and Avatar: The Way of Water, both of which are among the highest-grossing films of all time. Additionally, she appeared as Dana Barrett in the Ghostbusters franchise.
