Balthazar Malone, a wealthy New York teenager, posts videos advocating stricter gun laws to impress an activist crush. When an online antagonist ridicules his posts, Balthazar suspects the user of planning mass violence and travels to Texas to confront the suspected attacker, navigating personal motives and escalating consequences and fallout.
