Scottsboro: An American Tragedy is a 2001 American documentary film directed by Daniel Anker and Barak Goodman. The film is based on the historic story of the Scottsboro Boys, nine black teenagers who were wrongly convicted of raping two white women in Alabama in 1931. The case brought attention to the racial injustice and legal biases in the American South during that time period.
