The BFG

The BFG is a 2016 American fantasy adventure film directed and co-produced by Steven Spielberg. It is based on Roald Dahl's 1982 novel of the same name and stars Mark Rylance, Ruby Barnhill, Penelope Wilton, and Jemaine Clement. The story follows a ten-year-old orphaned girl named Sophie who befriends a kind giant known as the Big Friendly Giant (BFG). Together, they journey to Giant Country to stop a group of man-eating giants from invading the human world.
