The House on Carroll Street

The House on Carroll Street is a 1988 American neo-noir film that follows Emily Crane, a photojournalist blacklisted for refusing to disclose names to the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1951. Set in 1950s New York City, she discovers a plot to smuggle Nazi war criminals into the United States.
