The Substance

The Substance is a 2024 body horror film centered around Elisabeth Sparkle, a fading celebrity who turns to a controversial black market drug in hopes of regaining her youth. The drug, a cell-replicating substance, temporarily transforms her into a younger, seemingly improved version of herself, but it soon leads to unforeseen and terrifying side effects.
