Lawmen: Bass Reeves

Lawmen: Bass Reeves is an upcoming American Western television series based on the life of Bass Reeves, the first African American Deputy U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi River. Set in the post-Reconstruction era, the show follows Reeves as a federal peace officer stationed in the Indian Territory. With his remarkable ability to capture over 3,000 dangerous criminals without ever being wounded, Reeves becomes a legendary lawman of the Wild West. The series is created by Chad Feehan and executive produced by a talented team including David Oyelowo and Taylor Sheridan. Lawmen: Bass Reeves is set to premiere on Paramount+ on November 5, 2023.
