Jessalyn Gilsig Biography
Jessalyn Sarah Gilsig (born November 30, 1971) is a Canadian actress known for her roles in various movies and TV shows. She gained recognition for her voice work as Kayley in Quest for Camelot and appeared in popular TV series including Boston Public, Nip/Tuck, Glee, and Vikings. Born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Gilsig is the daughter of Claire, a writer and translator, and Toby Gilsig, an engineer. She started her acting career with voice roles at a young age and later attended McGill University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Gilsig continued her acting studies at Harvard University's Institute for Advanced Theater Training. She has also performed in off-Broadway plays in New York City.
