Johnathon Schaech (born September 10, 1969) is an American actor and screenwriter. He began his acting career in the early 1990s. Born in Edgewood, Maryland, to Joe, a Baltimore City law enforcement officer, and Joanne Schaech, a human resources executive, Schaech attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he studied economics and took one acting class. He signed with Wilhelmina West in 1989 and worked in commercials and bit parts in movies. Schaech studied under acting teacher Roy London for three and a half years. He has appeared in films such as Sparrow, The Doom Generation, and How to Make an American Quilt.
