Cape Fear is an American thriller drama miniseries created by Nick Antosca, adapted from the novel The Executioners by John D. MacDonald and its 1962 and 1991 film adaptations. Produced by Eat the Cat, Universal Content Productions, and Amblin Television, the series follows convicted killer Max Cady, freshly released from prison, as he pursues revenge against public defenders Anna and Tom Bowden and those who concealed evidence in his case. Javier Bardem, Amy Adams, Patrick Wilson and CCH Pounder star.
