Jamie Chung portrays Ji-Ah, a young woman with a dark secret. Ji-Ah crosses paths with Atticus during his journey, and their encounter sets in motion a chain of events that will test their resolve and challenge their understanding of the world.

Demetrius Grosse brings the character of Marvin Baptiste to life. Marvin is the brother of Ruby and Leti. Although he has a smaller role in the series, his presence adds depth to the family dynamics and highlights the challenges faced by African Americans in the 1950s.
