Sela Ann Ward (born July 11, 1956) is an American actress, author, and producer. She gained recognition for her roles in various television series, starting with her breakout role as Teddy Reed in the NBC drama series Sisters (1991–1996), for which she received her first Primetime Emmy Award. Ward received further acclaim and won a second Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award for her leading role as Lily Manning in the ABC drama series Once and Again (1999–2002). She has also appeared in popular TV shows such as House, CSI: NY, and FBI. Ward has also played supporting roles in films like The Fugitive, The Day After Tomorrow, and The Guardian.
