The Rookie Cast

Nathan Fillion plays the role of John Nolan, the main protagonist of the show. John is a forty-year-old man who decides to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer after a life-altering event. Despite being the oldest rookie on the force, John is determined to prove himself and makes it his mission to serve and protect the community.

Melissa O'Neil portrays Lucy Chen, another rookie officer. Lucy is ambitious and eager to prove herself in the male-dominated field of law enforcement. She is intelligent, driven, and always willing to go the extra mile to succeed. Lucy forms close bonds with her fellow rookies as they navigate the challenges of police work together.

Titus Makin Jr. takes on the role of Jackson West, a young and disciplined rookie officer. Jackson comes from a law enforcement family, which puts additional pressure on him to excel. He is determined to follow the rules and prove his worth despite the high expectations placed upon him.

Eric Winter plays the character of Tim Bradford, an experienced training officer who is paired with John Nolan. Tim is tough, no-nonsense, and demands perfection from his trainees. He pushes John to his limits to ensure that he becomes a competent and capable police officer.

Alyssa Diaz portrays Angela Lopez, a seasoned police officer who becomes a mentor figure to Lucy and the other rookies. Angela is compassionate, dedicated, and always strives to do what is right. She offers guidance and support to the rookies as they face the challenges of their new profession.

Afton Williamson plays Talia Bishop, one of the rookie officers. Talia is a former army medic and brings her unique perspective and skills to the job. She is tough, resourceful, and determined to make a difference in her new role as a police officer.

Mekia Cox portrays Nyla Harper, a new rookie officer who transfers from a different police department. Nyla brings her experience and knowledge to the team and quickly establishes herself as a valued member of the force. She is intelligent, ambitious, and dedicated to her job.

Richard T. Jones takes on the role of Wade Grey, a high-ranking officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. Wade is strict, assertive, and expects nothing but excellence from his subordinates. He serves as a commanding presence within the department and challenges the rookies to be the best officers they can be.
