Cast of Supergirl

Melissa Benoist portrays Kara Danvers, also known as Supergirl or Kara Zor-El. Kara is a Kryptonian survivor who becomes Earth's protector against various threats. She assumes the identity of Kara Danvers, a mild-mannered reporter, to blend in with human society and protect her secret identity.

Chyler Leigh plays the role of Alex Danvers, also known as Sentinel. Alex is Kara's adoptive sister and a highly skilled agent for the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO). She is a strong and determined character who often assists Supergirl in her missions to save National City.

David Harewood portrays J'onn J'onzz, also known as Martian Manhunter. J'onn is the last surviving Green Martian and the director of the DEO. He has shape-shifting abilities and a strong sense of justice, using his powers to help protect Earth alongside Supergirl.

Katie McGrath takes on the role of Lena Luthor. Lena is the younger sister of Lex Luthor and a brilliant scientist. Initially a friend and ally to Supergirl, Lena faces complex moral dilemmas as she balances her family legacy with her own desire to do good.

Jesse Rath portrays Querl 'Brainy' Dox, also known as Brainiac-5. Brainy is a technological genius from the 31st century and a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. He joins forces with Supergirl and her team, using his advanced knowledge to assist in their fight against villains.

Nicole Maines plays Nia Nal, also known as Dreamer. Nia is a transgender woman and a reporter at CatCo Worldwide Media. She possesses the power of precognition and uses her abilities to help protect National City alongside Supergirl and her allies.

Floriana Lima portrays Maggie Sawyer. Maggie is a detective with the National City Police Department and a former love interest of Alex Danvers. She is a skilled investigator and often assists the DEO and Supergirl in their efforts to maintain peace and order in the city.

Azie Tesfai takes on the role of Kelly Olsen, also known as Guardian. Kelly is a psychologist and the sister of James Olsen, who previously held the mantle of Guardian. She eventually takes up the mantle herself to help protect National City alongside Supergirl.
