Michael Rainey Jr. portrays Tariq St. Patrick, the son of the infamous drug kingpin James 'Ghost' St. Patrick. Tariq is determined to find a way to clear his mother's name and secure his own future, leading him down a dangerous path.

Shane Johnson plays Cooper Saxe, a determined and cunning attorney with a personal vendetta against Tariq St. Patrick. Saxe is willing to do whatever it takes to bring Tariq to justice.

Mary J. Blige takes on the role of Monet Stewart Tejada, a formidable and powerful businesswoman who leads a successful drug empire. Monet is a mother figure to her family and will do whatever it takes to protect them.

Woody McClain portrays Cane Tejada, Monet's eldest son and a member of the family's drug organization. Cane is determined to prove himself and take on more responsibility within the Tejada empire.

Gianni Paolo plays Brayden Weston, Tariq's roommate and newfound partner in the drug trade. Brayden comes from a wealthy background and is seduced by the allure of the criminal underworld.

Method Man portrays Davis Maclean, a brilliant defense attorney who becomes involved in Tariq's legal affairs. Davis has a reputation for winning cases and is willing to push boundaries in order to get his way.

Melanie Liburd takes on the role of Caridad 'Carrie' Milgram, an ambitious law professor with a complicated relationship with Tariq. Carrie finds herself caught between her professional ethics and her personal connection to Tariq.

Lovell Adams-Gray portrays Dru Tejada, Monet's other son and a member of the family's drug organization. Dru is openly gay and struggles with his place within the Tejada empire.
